Lawrence founded and runs a Social Enterprise, Springboard Nigeria (www.springboardnig.com), just outside of Akure, Ondo State. Springboard focuses on sustainable agriculture and cultivating rural entrepreneurs. Springboard has trained over 2000 youth in sustainable agriculture practices while giving them the tools to operate and manage a small business. They have also trained over 500 rural women who have started over 300 village enterprises which give these communities a foundation to start small businesses and foster entrepreneurial ideas. Lawrence is a tireless advocate for Nigeria to grow from within and he believes firmly that Nigerian youth are the driving force behind the country’s growth and development.
